This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Crown Point Systems, Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: Item Description/Part Number 1Extron Fiber Isolation Kit/CP-EXT-FIBISO-22 2Control System Upgrade Kit/CP-CTRL-22 3FFP Integration and Programming to include code update for new operation, sources, isolation & add control functionality for both Cisco codecs/CP-SEC-IN-22 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Valid8.com under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 750 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.
