The Department of the Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to issue a Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Hottinger, Bruel & Kjaer, Inc. for the procurement of a single Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembly. This replacement is necessary because the existing PCB assembly, which is a critical component of the vibration table amplifier control system, has become inoperable. The new assembly must be fully backwards compatible with the existing control system to ensure seamless integration and consistent signal generation. Hottinger, Bruel & Kjaer, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the vibration table control system and all associated parts, supporting the noncompetitive procurement decision. The notice emphasizes that although the contract will be awarded noncompetitively, all interested and responsible sources are encouraged to submit bids, proposals, or quotations for consideration. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 334418, with a business size standard of 750 employees. Interested parties may request a copy of the Request for Quote and direct any questions in writing by email to the designated contract specialist, Ashley C. Prokop, by the specified deadline. Phone or fax inquiries will not be considered. The procurement is anticipated but not binding, reflecting the government’s intent and conditions for awarding the contract.
