This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Technical Manufacturing Corporation. Address: 15 Centennial DR, Peabody, Massachusetts, 01960-7901, United States. The requirement is for the purchase of magnetic field cancellation system, with on-site system initialization, optimization, and certification. The system provides continuous field cancellation and monitoring and dynamic response at least on the order of 100 - s, and feedforward compensation of line frequency and harmonics with as much frequency bandwidth as possible (up to 10 kHz ). FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334519 and the business size standard is 550 employees.
