Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under solicitation number 9F063-20260085 for the development of one to three enabling technologies to support future space missions. The primary objective is to advance strategic technologies to reduce technical uncertainties and support the implementation of future Canadian space activities. A specific focus of this effort is the maturation of a lightweight, athermal reflecting telescope capability to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5. This includes the delivery of a reflecting telescope brassboard validated for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) vibration and thermal-vacuum environments, intended for Earth Observation imaging payloads on CubeSats of 4U or larger, with the telescope itself being 2U or less. Key performance targets include a Ground Sampling Distance of less than 7 metres and a swath width greater than 5 km. The project is planned for a duration of 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a Kick-off meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review/Work Authorization Meeting, Test Readiness Review, and a Final Review meeting. Deliverables include the hardware brassboard, CAD and performance analysis models, software, and a Technology Roadmap for advancing to TRL 6-8. This solicitation is restricted to Canadian suppliers. Awards will be based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60 percent) and price (40 percent), with a minimum technical score of 70 points required for consideration. The procurement process includes strict requirements for security clearances, intellectual property disclosure, and adherence to environmentally preferable packaging standards.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.

Solicitation # NNH25ZDA001N-LCAS
The Heliophysics Low-Cost Access to Space (H-LCAS) program, solicitation NNH25ZDA001N-LCAS, is a research opportunity managed by the NASA Science Mission Directorate. The program supports the development and maturation of innovative instruments, technologies, and flight investigations using sounding rockets, high-altitude balloons, CubeSats, or airborne platforms. Projects are categorized as either science or science-enabling and are evaluated based on their scientific and technical merit, relevance to the 2024-2033 Heliophysics Decadal Survey or NASA strategic objectives, and cost reasonableness. Awards typically have a duration of three years, with a maximum of four years available upon justification, and are expected to start approximately six months after the proposal due date. Eligible organizations of all types may propose, though participation by the People's Republic of China is prohibited and non-U.S. organizations may participate on a no exchange of funds basis. Applicants must be registered in SAM.gov and provide a Unique Entity Identifier. Proposals must be submitted electronically via NSPIRES by an Authorized Organizational Representative and include a 20-page Science-Technical-Management section, a 4,000-character summary, and required non-anonymized attachments including a total budget, a Payload Reference Document, and an Expertise and Resources appendix. 1.0 Introduction and Scope NASA/GSFC is seeking partners to propose in response to NASA Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) Early Career Initiative (ECI) opportunity. ECI enables early career NASA technologists to deliver transformative technologies while teaming with world-class external innovators. NASA/GSFC is interested in partners that can collaborate on the development of highly innovative space hardware technologies that includes hands-on development and testing of a technology with the potential to enhance or enable future missions. The project team will be led by a NASA/GSFC early career civil servant employee and include any combination of highly qualified external partner(s). Proposing core teams will include one to four NASA/GSFC civil servants and one to four external partners (e.g., from academic, commercial, other government agencies, etc); the core team may have no more than eight members total. Teams must propose innovative space hardware-focused projects lasting no more than 2 years and costing no more than $600k in procurements per year. The general approach will be milestone-based with a continuation review after the first year and a final presentation to NASA Headquarters in the last year. For this partnership opportunity dealing with the preparation of ECI proposals, there will be no exchange of funds between the partnering team(s). NASA/GSFC reserves the option to not select any teaming partners under this partnership opportunity. This joint proposal will be reviewed and considered by NASA/GSFC for submission to NASA Headquarters (HQ). If the joint proposal is selected, NASA GSFC anticipates issuing contracts or other agreements to the selected partner(s) to perform the proposed work with the GSFC Project Lead. Responses to this notice will serve as the basis for selection of proposal partners for ECI. 2. Technical Objectives GSFC is looking for partner(s) that aligns with the following technical area: Additive manufacturing techniques, including direct assembly or similar capabilities and support that include: - Printing of nanomaterials, conductive and insulating materials with feature sizes of 50 microns or less, over a length of at least 7 cm and can traverse a change in vertical height on up to 1 mm, with minimal trace resistance. - Printing of multiple layers, with each layer aligned with another layer to fabricate multilayered structures. - Sintering of the printed materials capable of housing 10 cm x 10 cm substrates - Printing and sintering setup in a clean room environment 3. Responsibilities of Partners NASA/GSFC reserves the right to communicate with potential proposal partners for additional information about their interest and capability. NASA/GSFC reserves the option to not select any teaming partners under this offering on the basis of material received. All information received in response to this notice that is marked 'Proprietary' will be handled and protected accordingly. 4.
