The Jacksonville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers (SAJ) is seeking interest from prospective offers for a potential fiscal year (FY) 2026 award of the subject project. The purpose of this sources sought is to gauge interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Dredging Community, to include Small Businesses, as the Government must ensure there is adequate competition amongst the potential pool of responsible contractors. Base project work involves maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Placement Area (P/A-N), the Fort Clinch Placement Area (P/A-F), and the North Beach Placement Area (P/A-NB). Incidental work includes environmental and water quality monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, beach tilling, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling. Option A project work consists of Fort Clinch pre-placement debris removal. Option B work includes interim demobilization and mobilization (cutter-suction and mechanical dredges only). Option C work includes beach tilling from FDEP Monument R-019 to R-029.The project is located in the St. Marys River and Cumberland Sound at the Georgia-Florida boundary in Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, FL.The Target Price range is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000.
