The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic, the Norfolk Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Hampton Roads Post of the Society of American Engineers (SAME) will co-sponsor an Industry Forum on June 30th, 2010, from 7:30 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST, at the new Virginia Beach Convention Center located at 1000 19th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23451. This one-day conference is designed to inform and connect leaders in the construction, real estate development, and architecture/engineering industries who team with NAVFAC Atlantic to provide the best infrastructure solutions to the Navy. This forum offers a chance to network with NAVFAC Atlantics top leaders and provides information you need on the latest policies, workload, standards, and initiatives within NAVFAC. Attendees will hear from NAVFAC leaders in the areas of acquisition, small business, environmental issues, engineering, design and construction, facilities support, and safety. The forum will also provide interactive discussion of issues important to NAVFAC and industry. This fee includes a pre-event icebreaker reception, access to the forum, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks during breaks, and copies of key presentation materials.
