The Library of Congress (“Library”) is the world’s largest library. Its mission is to support Congress in fulfilling its constitutional duties and to further the progress of knowledge and creativity for the benefit of the American people. The Library of Congress National Book Festival (“Festival”) celebrated twenty-five years of words and wonder in 2025. The Festival is the Library’s most significant public outreach initiative, largest event, and is considered the premier book festival in the country. It embodies the life-changing contribution of books to the lives of people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. The Festival has grown exponentially in offerings, attendance and reputation. It has captivated and enthralled millions of people – both in person and virtually – who are inspired to read.


The Library seeks a contractor to provide audience-focused event management services for the Library of Congress National Book Festival.
