The item is identified by NSN 6515-01-541-0635 and must meet stringent medical and packaging standards as defined by the Department of Defense. The item carries a non-extendable shelf life of 60 months under Type I, Code S conditions, governed by MIL-STD-2073-1E for preservation and Medical Marking Standard No. 1 (MMS No. 1) for labeling, which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for all non-radioactive medical items. Compliance with MMS No. 1 includes proper barcode application and all required identification markings. All deliveries are subject to destination inspection and acceptance under FAR 52.246-2, with FOB Destination terms placing full responsibility on the contractor until receipt at the delivery location. The product must be manufactured and supplied in full compliance with applicable federal and defense regulations, including mandatory hazardous material labeling and Safety Data Sheet compliance under 29 CFR 1910.1200 and DFARS 252.223-7001. The contract mandates electronic invoice submission through Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) and adherence to cybersecurity safeguards including NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information. Offerors must provide current Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE code information, affirm small business status if applicable, and comply with clauses addressing trafficking in persons, employment eligibility verification, and whistleblower protections.
