Full Description

This proposed contract action will be a sole source acquisition to Sealevel Systems, Inc. (CAGE: ONLW9) for the purchase of USB Synchronous Serial Radio Adapters. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. During market research, it was determined that Sealevel Systems, Inc. possesses the only cable that can function properly in regards to agency requirements. This requirement is for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and procurement of 27 each ACC-188 USB Synchronous Serial Radio Adapter cables. The Period of Performance (POP) shall be 3 Months After Review of Order (ARO), and the duration of the contract is expected to be 6 months ARO. This NRE contract will require the contractor to modify their current ACC-188 USB Synchronous Serial Radio Adapter (P/N 9065-DB25) which will result in a new radio adapter cable (P/N 9065-URC-133). The Government is in no possession of data. Any responsible party may submit a bid, proposal or quotation for agency consideration. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. The approximate RFP issue date will be 15 February 2013.
