New Well #8 and Pipeline Replacement Project

The Frazier Park Public Utilities District is preparing to undertake two critical water infrastructure projects to enhance local water supply reliability and distribution system integrity. The first project involves the construction of a new potable water well, designated as District Well #8, to expand the district’s capacity to meet growing demand and ensure long-term water availability. The second project entails replacing approximately 18,300 feet of aging potable water distribution pipelines across three service areas: Summit Area, Lower Summit Area, and Texas Trail, addressing corrosion, leaks, and service disruptions caused by aging infrastructure. These initiatives are being pursued to secure funding support from the State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Drinking Water, aligning with state priorities for public health and water system resilience. The projects are forecasted for implementation in the near future, with all activities centered within the 93225 zip code area in California.
