The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on 8/12/25 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter to support the work of the Department’s Maternal Mortality Review Initiative by performing state mandated maternal mortality case review, abstraction, presentation and informant interviews for the New York State (NYS) Maternal Mortality Review Board (MMRB) under the Maternal Mortality Review Initiative (MMRI). Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
