The Department of Defense, through the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to refresh the IT equipment for the Navy Medicine Operational Training Command's Public Affairs Office. This contract focuses on replacing and adding to equipment that has reached the end of its useful life and no longer meets industry technical standards. The equipment update aligns with the United States Surgeon General’s initiative to modernize instructional technology tools. The current NMOTC PAO staff is already standardized and trained on Apple, Nikon, and GoPro systems, making it essential to procure these specific brand-name items to avoid disruptions and additional retraining that could impact mission-critical tasks. The procurement will follow simplified acquisition procedures as outlined in FAR part 13. This is a brand name set-aside contract specifically for small businesses, with the solicitation expected to be made available for download on the NECO website around February 28, 2025, and an estimated delivery date set for March 10, 2025. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 423410 with a small business size standard of 200 employees, and the related Product Supply Code is 6760. Interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must certify that they are not suspended or debarred from federal contracts. All questions must be submitted via email to the designated point of contact, and the contracting office will not provide hard copy solicitations, requiring all offers and related communications to utilize electronic channels exclusively.
