Full Description

This is a Special Notice and only a Special Notice. The General Services Administration (GSA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) entered into an Interagency Agreement. Pursuant to the terms of the Interagency Agreement, the GSA will perform acquisition functions relating to what is commonly being referred to as the "NOAA Environmental Satellite Processing and Distribution Services (ESPDS)" procurement. The Contracting Officer responsible for the acquisition is Anthony W. Pellegrino, GSA, 10 Causeway Street, Room 1085, Boston, MA 02222, (617) 565-5750, anthony.pellegrino@gsa.gov. The current, approved Acquisition Plan for this acquisition includes issuing two (2) solicitations: one (1) for operations and maintenance support for the Environmental Satellite Processing Center (ESPC); and, one (1) for software development support. For ease of reference, GSA assigns R1BK13090024 to the Operations and Maintenance procurement, and R1BK13090030 to the Development procurement. The Acquisition Plan provides for issuing R1BK13090024 (O&M) against the COMMITS NexGen Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) and R1BK13090030 (Development) against the ALLIANT Small Business GWAC. EBUY will be used to issue the solicitations. There is no information available currently regarding the release date for the solicitations or the anticipated award date.
