This is a notice of the Government's intend to award a Sole Source purchase order under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901. For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only source reasonably available .
The notice of published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 5.2 {Synposis of Proposed Contract Actions,"requring the dissemination of informed on proposed contracts actions.
The United States of Appeal for the Armed Forces (USCAAF) requires the ability to provide funding for the federally-permitted benefit under 5 U.S.C. § 7905 and Executive Order 13150. The requirement is to continue the participation in the federal transit subsidy program by providing Metro's SmartBenefits and paper farecards to employees at the United States Court of Appeal of Armed Forces(USCAAF) beginning August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027 for the use of WMATA Metrorail, Metrobus, as well as DC Circulator, Metro-registered van pools, DASH, Ride On, Fairfax Connector, CUE, Loudoun County Transit. The Mass Transportation Benefit Program (MTBP) will be used for commuting between home and work as well as work-to-work within the NCR.
