This is not a solicitation/request for proposal. The solicitation/request for proposal will be forth coming. When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DSCC Bid website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 6135-013407883 and 6135-014557946 non-rechargeable batteries. An Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract with a base period of three years and two option years is anticipated. Multiple delivery orders may be written against the basic contract for a maximum of five years. Solicitation will be issued as - Full and Open. NACIS Code 335912, business size 1000 Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 12 procedures. NSNs are not part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program, While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Both batteries require First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered.
