North Glynn Recreation Complex ("North Glynn") is a 153 acre park developed and managed by Glynn County. The park opened in the early 2000's and features a variety of outdoor recreational amenities including 4 lighted softball fields, 4 lighted baseball fields, 5 lighted multi-purpose (football/soccer) fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, dog park, disc golf course, skate park, playgrounds, pavilions, and 1 mile walking trail. North Glynn is maintained by Glynn County Recreation and Parks Department ("GCRPD"). North Glynn is the County's second largest park and one of the most utilized parks in the County. GCRPD offers recreational athletic leagues for youth and adult at the sports complexes in the fall (August-November) and spring (February-June) seasons. Third-party organizations rent fields at the sports complexes for non-County athletic tournaments on weekends from March through early December. Other amenities are open and used year-round by residents and visitors. The restroom/concession buildings that serve the three sports complexes are 20+ years old, used heavily for the majority of the year, and in need of upgrades to provide a better experience for park patrons. This project is supported by the Glynn County Board of Commissioners.
