North-South Corridor Intelligent Transportation System Deployment Project

The Project is comprised of a set of advanced traffic management technologies that together would reduce congestion and improve traffic flow along the Fair Oaks Avenue corridor. The objective of the Project is to improve traffic congestion and overall pedestrian and vehicle safety in the City. Improvements are generally categorized as traffic signal improvements, fiber optic lines, various intersection improvements (including bulb outs, median nose improvements and curb ramps), and the addition of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV). In addition, the Project would install a fiber optic connection from South Pasadena City Hall at 1414 Mission Street to the South Pasadena Public Works Building at 416 Garfield Avenue via a route along Mission Street, Stratford Avenue, Clark Place, and Garfield Avenue
