NORTH VINEYARD STATION SPECIFIC PLAN

The Sacramento County Department of Transportation is executing several infrastructure improvements within unincorporated Sacramento County, specifically under the North Vineyard Station Specific Plan. A primary focus is the Waterman Road project, solicitation PLER2025-00071, which involves connecting Waterman Road between Thimbleberry Drive and Ribera Street. This project includes the installation of a new at-grade crossing over the Central California Traction Company railroad, along with the construction of curb, gutter, sidewalks, raised landscape medians, and Class 2 bike lanes. The scope of work encompasses excavation, grading, and paving, and requires the acquisition of permanent right-of-way for public roadway and utility easements from two parcels.
