Northbound SR 15 to Eastbound SR 94 Connector Ramp Pavement Rehab

Caltrans District 11 in San Diego is forecasting a pavement rehabilitation project for the northbound SR 15 to eastbound SR 94 connector ramp at postmile 2.1. The primary objective is to improve traffic safety on the damaged onramp by removing 0.2 feet of existing asphalt and replacing it with 0.2 feet of rubberized asphalt. All project activities will be conducted within the existing ramp pavement and Caltrans right-of-way, falling under NAICS code 237310. The project, identified by EA/PID 11-3A942/PID 1125000157, has been granted a CEQA categorical exemption under section 15301 and a NEPA categorical exclusion, as the work consists of routine repair and maintenance with no significant environmental impacts or expansion of use.
