Project Purpose is to construct a resilient natural environment along the waterfront for public use. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the construction of site improvements at Northfield Point, 600 Davol Street, Fall River. Work includes site preparation, installation of erosion controls, rough and finish grading, installation of stabilized aggregate pathways, cutting and placing of salvaged granite stones for benches, installation of water service with yard hydrants and water bottle fill station, furnishing and installing lighted bollards (solar), an osprey nesting pole, poles for security cameras as well as loaming, seeding and related site landscaping and miscellaneous park site amenities. The Fall River Bicentennial trail /pedestrian walkway shall remain open at all times during construction of the park. All work shall be in accordance with project permits issued by the Fall River Conservation Commission, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Army Corps of Engineers.
