The Board of Supervisors of Lauderdale County, Mississippi, is soliciting sealed bids for Mechanical Mulching Services on an hourly rate basis under Bid No. 4037, with proposals due by 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026. The work involves approximately 37 acres surrounding Long Creek Reservoir to remove brush, undergrowth, and small-diameter vegetation, with the goal of enhancing aesthetics, accessibility, and land management. Performance is on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum hours or acreage, and all work must be completed by December 31, 2026. Contractors are required to use approved forestry equipment including tracked or wheeled mulchers, skid steers, or excavators with mulching heads, maintain backup equipment, repair any erosion or damage caused, perform final grading and smoothing, and conduct a walkthrough with the County Road Manager for acceptance.
