NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACTS The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Rapid Acquisition Cell intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for the procurement of specialized services, which may include hardware/software modification, data collections, and/or analysis in support of sensor capability demonstration or development. This may include demonstrations of existing or modified sensors, on-board or off-board of airborne platforms, to determine and/or validate systems capabilities as part of developing system-of-systems weapon kill-chain architecture for air or ground targets. Sensors or integrated sensor approaches may introduce new equipment, modify existing equipment, or integrate combinations of new, modified and existing hardware/software to include radars, infrared search and track systems, targeting pods, or other existing or novel sensor concepts. Sensor demonstrations and analysis will support the research and development of new weapons concept exploration conducted by the Armament Systems Development Division of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Program Development and Integration Directorate (AFLCMC/XZW). Initially, the Government is considering one IDIQ contract award in support of sensor requirements, with other contracts to follow at a later time. Current plans are to award the contracts as firm fixed price. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Ms. Robin L. Gibson, Contracting Officer, robin.gibson@eglin.af.mil no later than 13 February 2013, 16:00 PM CST.
