NOTICE OF INTENT


The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Quality Specialty Products Incorporated (cage code 73DH7) for the purchase of customized BMT furniture. The Government has invested over $3.3M competitively under a previously award furniture contract (FA301624D0015). To ensure compatibility and standards are consistent with existing products, it is in the Government’s best interest to procure the additional products of the same furniture from this contractor.  Items will include:


  • Qty 4,568 customized wall lockers
  • Qty 4,568 customized bed frames with adapters
  • Qty 4,568 H-Frame Chairs

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Quality Specialty Products Incorporated, under the authority of RFO 12.102(b) under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement of Sinclair swine, or interested parties may submit quotes/offers.  This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all quotes/offers received by the closing date and time of this Notice of Intent will be reviewed and considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
