*****NOTICE OF INTENT***** The United States Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). The Government intends to solicit and award a purchase order to Foam Design Inc., 444 Transport Ct, Lexington, Kentucky, 40511 for 350 each APKWS Kits to include 4,900 Each Foam Collar Tube, 700 Each Foam Collar Tube with Counter Bore Modified, 350 Each Aft Pad, 350 Aft Cushion Assembly, 1,750 Each Polyethylene Tube, Inner, 350 Each Silicon Rubber Pad Forward, and 140 Cases of 10 Each 50ml Tubes of PERMABOND TA4605 to be IAW drawings 13722932, 13723427, 13723423, 13722934, 1364250-2, 13722933, and 13722929. Delivery will commence immediately after contract is in place. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The place of performance is: Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD), 431 Battlefield Memorial Highway, Richmond, Kentucky, 40475. Shipping for all items shall be FOB destination. BGAD's truck shipments are only accepted Monday through Thursday (no shipments will be accepted on government holidays) from 6:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. All shipments and deliveries must be at the main gate on or before 3:00 P.M. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government.
