The U.S. Army Medical Command at Joint Base Lewis-McChord intends to award a sole source contract valued at $100,000 to Aziyo Biologic Inc for the procurement of ViBone Cellular Allograft products. These medical supplies are specifically designated for use at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. The decision to pursue a sole source award is based on the determination by the attending surgeon that the ViBone Cellular Allograft uniquely satisfies the specific medical requirements of their patients, and all products must comply with FDA approval standards as well as meet the surgeon's and patients' needs. This procurement will be conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), which allows negotiation with a single source when justified. Although this notice is not a solicitation or request for quotations, interested vendors who believe they can supply comparable products are invited to submit documentation demonstrating their product capabilities and specifications for potential consideration in future contracts. Communications regarding vendor interest should be directed exclusively via email to the designated purchasing agent, Angela Dexter. No phone or fax inquiries will be accepted.
