Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source for SAFB Taxiway Repairs at SAFB, IL

The USACE - Louisville District intends to award a sole source out-of-scope contract modification to FM McCarthy LLC under Contract Number W912QR-26-C-A018 for the Scott Air Force Base (SAFB) Taxiway Repairs at SAFB, Illinois. This work is considered out-of-scope because it involves additional work that was not originally scoped in the base contract.

This out-of-scope modification will be issued on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotations or competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to proceed with a sole source modification to FM McCarthy LLC under Contract W912QR-26-C-A018. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not
to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
