Full Description

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for a bridge extension for Task Order 5, HSTS02-07-J-TTC215. Under Task Order 5, the contractor provides the following services: Acquisition of Hardware, Hardware Tools and Software License Renewal Contracts, Critical Spare Parts Provisioning, and Asset Management Support. This task order extension will provide for continuous, uninterrupted break/fix and Tier 3 support for the Operating and Computing Environment (OCE) at TSA Headquarters; Colorado Springs, CO; and Annapolis Junction, MD. This extension is necessary to provide complex and critical hardware/ software license and maintenance renewals for TSA Data Operations Centers. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award an extension to InfoZen, Inc., 9420 Key West Avenue, Suite 101, Rockville, MD 20850. This extension will address the requirements of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis and Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above designated source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The TSA is currently evaluating offerors received in response to a competitive Request for Proposal for a continuation of these services and anticipates a new award in May 2012. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.
