This is NOT a solicitation. The intention is to verify whether the specified services are capable of being met by more than one source. The proposed contract action is for product or services for which the City of Port Orange intends to negotiate and award with only one source under the authority of and in accordance with Florida State Statute 287.057(3)(c). Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is the City's understanding that Carl Eric Johnson, Inc. is the only vendor who can provide National Oilwell Varco (NOV), Moyno products, which the vendor is the authorized dealer with approved business locations in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee areas. The City of Port Orange intends to recommend a sole-source procurement for the purchase of the Mayno Products . The City would negotiate a contract for these services with Carl Eric Johnson, Inc. Interested firms must be authorized dealers of the National Oilwell Varco (NOV), Moyno products and must identify their ability to respond to the requirement by submitting in writing, firm name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email, a statement regarding their clear and convincing capability to provide the specified procurement. Clear and convincing documentation shall be provided to support their position. Responses will NOT be considered as proposals, bids or quotes.
