The Peace Corps, Office of the Chief Financial Officer/Acquisition and Contract Management, hereby submits a notice of intent to award a single source purchase order to International Business Machines Corporation., 6710 ROCKLEDGE DR BETHESDA, MD, 20817-1834, UNITED STATES for the Peace Corps Volunteer Delivery System (VDS). The period of performance for this effort will be a base year of 12 months with four 12 month option year periods. The procurement will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106(b), Soliciting from a single source, and using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR Part 13. The Peace Corps anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Peace Corps.
