The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Army Contracting Agency (ACA), intends to negotiate a sole source award for a contract with The Pennsylvania State University Center of Supply Chain Research. SAIC is located at 488 Business Building, Uni versity Park, PA 16802-3603. The Logistics Innovative Agency (LIA) in Fort Belvoir, VA requires academic/educational research partner to further its mission on the following logistic and supply chain management strategies. This requirement would serve as a resource base for conducting general research and development of state-of-the-art logistics and supply chain systems. The period of performance is 1 APR 2008  31 MAR 2009. Without the partnership with The Pennsylvania State University Center of Supp ly Chain Research, LIA will not be able to support the Warfighter with innovative state-of-the-art military focused logistics and supply chain capabilities, enablers, and systems required and expected by the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, the Combatant Comma nders, and the U.S. Army to effectively sustain the readiness of the force.
