Full Description

The purpose of this modification is to change the response date. The new response date is 14 September 2012 @ 11:00 am. The Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST), Camp Lejeune, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Johnson Controls, Inc, located at 395 N Green Meadows Drive, Suite B, Wilmington, NC 28405, Cage Code 238220, on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Solicitation M67001-12-Q-0352 This Camp Lejeune Dependent Schools, Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement to upgrade and program the existing Johnson Controls, Inc Direct Digital Controls (DDC) supervisory device, for the following; Brewster School, Bitz School and Johnson School (see attached Statement of Work). Market research has revealed this contractor the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the DDC System, and is the only source capable to providing the required services. Therefore, the Government intends to procure these services on a sole source based from Johnson Control, Inc. This requirement will include travel expenses, parts and all labor. (See Statement of Work) This Notice of Intent is Not a Request for Competitive Quotes. However all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis bill be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to response to this requirement of submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
