NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD Single SOURCE Project Title: Wireless self-powered Steam Trap Monitoring Announcement No.: 75N99020C00022 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a single source firm fixed price contract for a commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) install wireless self-powered steam trap sensors over an 915MHz wireless network to collect data continuously and provide real-time visibility into the NIH Bethesda Campus Steam System. The Contractor for this requirement is Everactive, Inc., 921 2nd St SE Charlottesville, VA, 22902-6172. The period of performance for this effort will be a 7-day installation and a 12- month base maintenance period with four (4) 12-month option periods and optional line items. The total estimated value is less than $500,000.00. This single source contracting action is pursuant to the authority found at FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) for the requirement based on the application of FAR 13.501(a) This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
