The Fort Hood Health Contracting Cell Regional Health Contracting Office, Central (P) Army Health Contracting Activity (P), MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to US BioServices Corporation, an other than small business, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) on or about 23 February 2017. The proposed contract action is for award of: Patient specific Carticel / MACI Implants (autologous cultured chondrocytes) for the Munson Army Health Center (MAHC), Ft. Leavenworth, KS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, and the size standard is 750. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.
