NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE GUARDIAN RF PASSIVE UAS DETECTION SYSTEM

Marine Corps Installations East plans to award a sole-source contract to Guardian RF Corporation for a passive radio frequency detection system designed to continuously monitor and track unmanned aircraft systems within controlled airspace on military installations. The system must not only detect and locate UAS in real time but also identify the position of the operator or ground control station, a critical capability that enables rapid security response and apprehension of unauthorized personnel. Based on extensive government market research and demonstrated performance, Guardian RF is the only commercial provider known to meet both essential requirements, making competitive bidding unnecessary under current circumstances.
