This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Building 6001, 2nd floor - Room C2-101, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) requires proper water treatment of facility hot water and steam heating systems, process water systems, and associated subsystems of the ATC Roadway Simulator (RWS) and Engine and Powertrain Test Facility (EPTF). The contractor shall also provide initial startup calibration of controllers, maintenance of all related equipment, emergency repair services, sample reports, and make any necessary adjustments. This treatment will ensure that there is no harmful bacteria, dissolved oxygen, acidity, or excessive alkalinity that can cause scale formation, corrosion, fouling, or become a breeding ground harmful bacteria that could harm personnel or equipment. The intended period of performance will start on 23 July 2018 for a period of 12 months and subject to two 12 month option periods. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to CONDOR TECHNOLOGIES, INC 110 North Main Street, Spruce Acres, Suite H, Camden, DE 19934. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the Business Size Standard is $7.5M. All responses received within ten businesses (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed requirement will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
