The 52nd Contracting Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Systems Atlanta Inc. (SAI), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA. The required service is as follows: 1) IDS5 System (TAD/SO) Telephonic Product and Technical Support The current IDS5 System is a proprietary product of Systems Atlantic Inc. Systems Atlantic Inc. has proprietary rights to all software, software maintenance and specifications for the existing system. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541511. The purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive requirement.
