Full Description

The U. S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Teledyne Risi, Inc., 32727 W Corral Hollow Rd., Tracy, CA, 95376. The contractor shall provide repair and calibration services as necessary for all Reynolds EBW Firing Systems. These include FS-9, FS-17, FS-43, and FS-49 systems. Teledyne Risi, Inc. has proprietary rights to the technical data of the firing systems. Award to another contractor would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 and the size standard is $19,000,000. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, 19 November 2012.
