NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The Arkansas Army National Guard, Camp Joe T Robinson, North Little Rock AR 72199 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Viasat Inc., 1725 Breckinridge Plaza Duluth, GA 30096 on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Deputy Chief of Staff Information Management for the AR Army National Guard has a requirement for rackmounts to hold Viasat Inline Network Encryptors. Viasat Inc. is the only authorized seller/source for Viasat rackmounts P/N 1276459. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from Viasat Inc., (CAGE Code: 47358), the only authorized source of these products. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
