Full Description

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC PACIFIC) intends to award a sole source cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to increase the contract ceiling by $12,999,554.00 on N66001-15-D-0262, awarded to Koam Engineering Systems, Inc. (KES). Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This contract provides technical data package design/development, system engineering, system design/development, integration, testing, installation, procurement support, environmental qualifications testing, management support, and packaging handling shipping and receiving for PEO-C4I all the systems and other Navy sponsors. The anticipated period of performance will NOT be extended. The current contract will expire 14 May 2018. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS Code) is 541330. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all inquiries received within 15 days after date of publication of this market survey will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any resulting procurement would be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15.
