Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling of Contract N66001-17-C-4061

This is a Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling of Contract N66001-17-C-4061 to Intrinsix Corp., awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Microsystems Technology Office (DARPA MTO) on 14 September 2017 for a performance period of 36 months with two option periods, concurrent with the base period. The effort under the contract is in support of the DARPA MTO Program, Common Heterogeneous Integration and Intellectual Property (IP) Reuse Strategies (CHIPS) Program under which Intrinsix Corp. is supporting the design and fabrication of an integrated circuit (IC). The circuit being developed is a secure microprocessor which contains various security features of interest to the Department of Defense. The additional effort by Intrinsix would focus on the transition of their secure microprocessor technology. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541715 (previously 541712) Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology). Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA MTO could not have reasonably estimated the results and/or need for additional research under this program. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $250,000 with no change in length of contract performance.
