THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to compete a requirement among limited sources, or award a contract to one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) - only one source reasonably available. Note: The solicitation will not be made available on this website. This notice is provided for information purposes only. Therefore, FAR 5.203 does not apply. The requirement is to dismantle existing Knoll office furniture currently located at a federal facility in San Francisco, CA, move the furniture to Los Angeles, CA, and reassemble the furniture at a federal facility in Los Angeles. Furniture includes workstations, private offices, conference rooms, meeting areas, and lateral files. This requirement is set aside for small businesses in California who are dealerships aligned with and certified by Knoll furniture. Only certified Knoll dealerships will have knowledge of Knoll furniture specifications, know how to reconfigure the furniture, and be able to purchase any additional Knoll components as necessary. Furthermore, using a dealership not certified by Knoll would void the warranty of the existing furniture.
