Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Notice of Intent for Sole Source Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 2304, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), San Antonio, TX, intends to issue a sole source award to Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) to purchase Health Information Exchange (HIE) services within the state of Colorado. This contract will be for 10 months supporting Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. CORHIO has stated they are the only organization who can provide these services as they are proprietary to the company and specific for this service. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated service can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within one (1) calendar day from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer; Ms. Brenda Palmer, brenda.m.palmer.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
