Full Description

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus fixed fee, bridge contract to Kepler Research Incorporated to continue to provide advisory and assistance services to the MDA Contracting Directorate and the MDA Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) Program Office. The contract will be for six months with one six month option. The MDA Contracting Directorate is actively competing other mission critical requirements for the agency that require uninterrupted acquisition support currently being provided under contract HQ0006-07-D-0002 with Kepler Research Incorporated. Kepler works in close coordination and cooperation with the MDA Government staff and other support contractors to provide services which include, but are not limited to: 1) assisting in the development of acquisition plans and strategies; 2) assisting in the development of source selection guides and evaluation criteria for MDA solicitations; 3) assisting in source selection activities to include expert advice in proposal evaluation procedures as well as maintenance of MDA's source selection facility. Kepler is the only contractor that can provide this necessary support without an unacceptable disruption in the level and quality of services required by MDA while the Agency competes the follow on requirement.
