The notice includes the relevant NAICS code 332322 and indicates an anticipated contract award date of around August 20, 2004. The procurement is conducted by the Department of Defense, specifically under the Commanding Officer’s office, with the place of performance tied to the Marine Corps bases in Japan. The contract emphasizes the need for direct compatibility with the existing systems and supports national security requirements, justifying the sole source approach.
