Notice of Intent to Sole Source E&E Publishing Subscription

The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Acquisition Management (AM), intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to the Environment and Energy (E&E) Publishing, LLC for annual membership. E&E Publishing produces five daily on-line publications and a daily video webcast for energy and environmental policy leaders. Membership to E&E Publication will enable the General Services Administration to have access to major product-based initiatives throughout government and industry through a wide range of products and services, including ClimateWire, EnergyWire, and other greening information. This procurement will be made pursuant to Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. A written solicitation will not be issued. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provide the aforementioned requirements and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statement to include pricing and explain their capability no later than 5 days after the date of this publication. Submit response to the Contracting Officer by e-mail at rose.rivera@gsa.gov. No telephone request will not be honored. If no affirmative written response is received within 5 business days from publication of this notice, a purchase order will be issued to E&E Publishing without further notice.
