AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price contract in Fiscal Year 2026 for tenant improvements at existing Armed Forces Recruiting Centers in Central and South Jersey, requiring the use of specific brand-name components to ensure nationwide standardization, compatibility, and warranty continuity across all military recruiting facilities. The mandated systems include Aiphone IXG Series Video Intercom Entry Control components, Securitron/ASSA ABLOY proprietary keypad controllers and integrated door hardware, Hanwha Vision CCTV and Network Video Recorder units, and NETGEAR-branded network switches for the security infrastructure. While the government will not purchase these items directly, contractors awarded the subsequent contract will be required to incorporate these exact brand-name parts into their proposals as part of a fully functional, integrated system. This notice serves as a market survey and formal announcement of intent to sole-source these components under an approved Justification and Approval, not as a solicitation for bids. Interested vendors capable of offering technically equivalent and fully compatible alternatives are invited to submit capability statements within 15 calendar days of the notice’s publication, providing clear evidence of equivalence to the specified brand-name systems in terms of function, performance, and integration with existing nationwide infrastructure. Submissions must be sent via email to the designated points of contact and must meet all technical requirements outlined in the Military Recruiting Facilities Construction Specifications. The formal solicitation for this work, identified by reference number W912DS26S0036, will be issued at a later date and is not currently available for response.
