The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Global Satellite Engineering for Spot Activations and Tracking services to support the Mexico Country Office. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice effective 04/22/2021 @ 10:00 am EST. Point of contact is Alicia Jones, email alicia.l.jones@usdoj.gov. The proposed purchase order is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Global Satellite Engineering (GSAT). In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Feb 2007) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Apr 2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order.
