The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Specialized Contracting Branch (PZIE), Eglin AFB, Florida has concluded their market research and intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) supply contract under FAR Part 15 to Santa Barbara Infrared Research, Inc.. 30 S. Calle Ceasar Chavez, Ste. D Santa Barbara, CA, 93103-5652. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314, size standard of 500 employees This contract will be for five (5) infrared scene projectors (IRSP), for the Guided Weapons Evaluation Facility (GWEF), 782 Test Squadron/RNWG, Eglin AFB, FL in accordance with the attached DRAFT Statement of Work and DRAFT Technical Specifications. The anticipated award date is the last quarter of FY2015. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Although the Government intends to solicit and award as a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the Government if received no later than 30 July 2015 at 1:00 PM CDT.
