Sole Source Notice of Intent (FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures) In accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), on behalf of FWS Refuge LE intends to award a sole source action to Minnesota Department of Safety (MN DPS) for a base + four option year contract (8/1/2021 - 7/31/2026). The MN DPS will provide the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) voice message handling on radio frequencies licensed to the MN DPS and FWS. This service will include dispatching calls for service, coordination of emergency and non-emergency incidents, and voice communications necessary to maintain the current status of USFWS law enforcement officers available for dispatch. This service will be provided to the USFWS for the number of officers specified by the MOU. This service will be provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The MN DPS will also provide CAD connectivity with FWS use of I-mobile software. Services provided by the MN DPS are unique to the geographic location (State of MN) and radio communication codes utilized by other law enforcement departments and officials in the state of Minnesota who currently utilize the same state dispatching services. The uniqueness of MN DPS use of I-mobile to access dispatch information. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal. No solicitation document is available. All responsible sources that have determined that they can provide the same products or services may submit product information and a capabilities statement that speaks to the products/services the US Fish and Wildlife Services are seeking in this proposed acquisition. All responses are due by May 12, 2021, 10:00 AM Eastern Time and can be sent to Lorenzo Aragon at contact@example.gov.
