Synopsis - J&A for Other than Full and Open Competition NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - One (1) reconfigurable Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) measurement system compatible with the Dantec Dynamics Data Acquisition System and is reconfigurable from 2-dimensional to stereo 3-dimensional to volumetric 3-dimesional particulate flow measurements in high temperature flows. Description: The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements based on the Government's requirement for a PIV measurement system that is compatible with the existing Government-owned Data Acquisition System manufactured by Dantec Dynamics. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Dantec Dynamics (PIV) measurement system compatible with the Dantec Dynamics Data Acquisition System, 750 BLUE POINT RD, HOLTSVILLE, NY, 11742-1832, for one (1) reconfigurable Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) measurement system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
